Title of the Innovation: HANDHELD SPIROMETER
Brief About Innovation
The developed Spirometer device is used to perform the spirometry test. Spirometry is a pulmonary function test (PFT), a noninvasive procedure that provides information about how well the lungs work. It reveals how much and how quickly air is moving through the lungs as one breathes into a tube. The developed device is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other conditions that affect breathing. This may also be used periodically to monitor one’s lung condition and check whether a treatment for a chronic lung condition is helping breathe better.
